a) Representing, studying and defending the associates moral, economic and social interests;

b) To act as main speaker with syndical organizations for the study and decision of working problems;

c) Promoting solidarity in order to foster the development of this industrial sector; 

d) Analysing technical-economic problems in production and distribution in order to come up with the most adequate solutions to the resolution of any difficulties;

e) Contributing to the definition, elaboration and accurate use of the necessary regulation to the industrial and commercial activity of the sector;

f) Ensuring permanent and essential contacts with the state authorities as well as other national and foreign congeners associations.
